OUR PROGRAM

INDIVIDUALIZED COUNSELING

Leadership & Clinical Guidance

INDIVIDUALIZED COUNSELING

Each person who comes through our doors brings their own unique story, challenges, and strengths. Our licensed counselors take the time to listen, understand, and create a personalized treatment plan that addresses the whole person—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Because many of our staff are in recovery themselves, we offer not just clinical expertise but also lived experience and empathy that clients can trust. This tailored approach empowers individuals to set meaningful goals, work through personal barriers, and discover their own pathway to lasting recovery.

Case Management

Leadership & Clinical Guidance

INDIVIDUALIZED COUNSELING

Case Management is a proven part of recovery. Our Case Managers help clients stay on track by coordinating medication, scheduling doctor appointments, and connecting them with mental health services and community resources.

This support removes barriers, reduces stress, and allows clients to focus on what matters most—building a strong foundation for lasting recovery.

Leadership & Clinical Guidance

Leadership & Clinical Guidance

COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY (CBT)

Guided by a skilled leadership and clinical team committed to the highest standards of care. Our Executive Director and Clinical Director ensures our mission and operations remain focused on recovery and service while overseeing evidence-based programming and quality treatment delivery. Our Licensed Professional Counselor provides expert therapeutic support, while our Qualified Clinical Supervisor upholds clinical integrity and professional development.

Together, this team ensures every client receives compassionate, effective, and ethical care.

This combination of leadership and clinical oversight allows us to provide a safe, structured, and healing environment where recovery is not only possible—but sustainable.

COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY (CBT)

At Tony Rice Center, we use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) because it empowers lasting change. CBT helps individuals recognize and change negative thought patterns and behaviors that fuel addiction. By learning healthier ways to cope, clients gain practical tools they can use every day—long after treatment ends.

Our experienced counselors guide clients through evidence-based CBT practices that build resilience, improve decision-making, and strengthen self-awareness. This approach is proven to reduce relapse risk and promote long-term recovery.

At Tony Rice Center, we believe recovery isn’t just about stopping the use of substances—it’s about building a new way of thinking and living. That’s why CBT continues to be one of the most effective foundations for the success our clients achieve.

CO-OCCURRING DISORDERS EDUCATION

We know that recovery is about more than stopping substance use—it’s about building the skills, awareness, and resilience to sustain a new way of life. Our Relapse Prevention Education is effective because it equips individuals with practical tools to recognize triggers, manage cravings, and develop healthier coping strategies.

What makes our program truly unique is that it’s grounded in real-world experience and evidence-based practices. Many of our staff are in recovery themselves, which allows us to connect with clients on a personal level while guiding them with professional expertise. We believe in open, honest conversations about the challenges of recovery, and we empower our clients to “recover out loud” by facing those challenges head-on.

Relapse Prevention at TRC isn’t about fear—it’s about preparation, empowerment, and hope. By addressing the root causes of addiction, strengthening self-awareness, and building a supportive community, our clients leave with the confidence and skills to live life in recovery—one day at a time.

CO-OCCURRING DISORDERS EDUCATION

COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY (CBT)

CO-OCCURRING DISORDERS EDUCATION

Substance use disorders and mental health conditions often occur together, creating complex challenges for those in recovery. Understanding co-occurring disorders is essential because treatment that addresses only one condition can leave the other unaddressed, making lasting recovery much more difficult.

Co-occurring disorder education equips both our clients and our staff with the knowledge to recognize, manage, and treat these interconnected conditions effectively. It promotes early identification, reduces stigma, improves coping strategies, and enhances overall treatment outcomes. By providing comprehensive education, we empower individuals to take control of their recovery journey and build a foundation for long-term wellness.

music & expressive therapies

We use Music and Expressive Therapies to help clients process emotions, reduce stress, and build healthy coping skills. Creative expression—through music, art, or writing—supports self-discovery, confidence, and long-term recovery. These therapies engage both mind and body, unlocking breakthroughs that traditional methods alone often cannot achieve.

Support that empowers our clients to achieve their goals both in recovery and in life is very important to us. That’s why we partner with local educational programs in our community to help clients obtain their G.E.D. Through these partnerships, clients have access to resources, tutoring, and guidance that make earning a high school equivalency diploma attainable. We are proud to support our clients in building the skills and confidence they need to pursue further education, career opportunities, and a brighter future.
